Obituary of Cecilia Sloane Liew

Cecilia "Cee" Sloane Liew was born on September 9, 2010 in Chicago, IL to Shannon and Andrew Liew. She died peacefully on August 27, 2014 in her home in Portland, OR. She was in the arms of her parents. Cee was the perfect combination of sweet and sassy, both beautiful and smart. She displayed wisdom and understanding that was beyond her years; others spoke of her as having an "old soul." She could also be downright silly with such energy she would light up any space she was in. Cee loved Batman and disliked dresses. She loved animals, especially dogs and cheetahs. She loved to dig and dance and sing. Cee was a collector of all things small, including rocks, coins, and chap stick. She was fierce and strong and oh so brave. Cee adored the boys in her life. Her brother was her favorite person, and she always wanted to play with him. She preferred her dad and was often seen being carried in his arms. Cee is survived by her mother, Shannon, her father, Andrew, and her big brother, Lawrence. We will remember her and long for her always. She was our light. We love you Cee. An informal gathering will be held Saturday, September 6 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Wilhelm's Portland Memorial Funeral Home to honor our exceptional little girl.
