Obituary of Jacquelyn Louise Godden

Jacquelyn Louise Godden July 13, 1968 to May 17, 2018 Jackie passed away peacefully at home in Amity Oregon, surrounded by many members of her large family, her best friends Sheri & Jason and dog, Amos. She waged a courageous 5-year battle against cancer. Jackie was born in Phoenix, Arizona, to her biological mother, Estelle Fancy, and lovingly adopted at birth by Geraldine Corona and her six children. In 1970 the family relocated to Tualatin. Jackie graduated from Tigard High School in 1987 and received her Criminal Justice degree at Pioneer Pacific College. Jackie has touched many lives in her career, caring for the disabled and elderly populations. Her hobbies included spending time with her grandchildren and taking trips to the coast – she loved the ocean. Jackie was preceded in death by her father, Jacob Godden and her birth mother, Estelle, with whom she reconnected later in her life. Survivors include her Mom, Geraldine Godden, her children Amanda, Joshua (Kaitlin) & Daiqwan, siblings Michael, Pam, Kathy, JeriLynn, Jake & Tracey and her grandchildren Izaiah, Elijah, Drake, Maya and Khloe. She is also survived by her Arizona sisters Sue, Joy & Ginny and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins in Oregon and around the country. A celebration of life will take place on Jackie’s 50th birthday, July 13th. More details to follow.
