Obituary of Braulio Sandoval

Braulio Sandoval Braulio Sandoval, 50 of Portland, OR passed away Monday September 7th 2020. Braulio was born March 20th 1970 in Grants Pass, OR to parents Paul and Shirley Sandoval. He was the second of 6 children. The eldest Mary, Braulio his twin sisters Elizabeth and Andrea, Paul JR. and Joe. As the son of migrant workers, Braulio moved around a lot as a child and tended to cause trouble where ever he went. While his Family was living in Crescent City, CA he was sent to Bar-O boys’ ranch where he earned his GED at the age of 18 before escaping in 1988. With the help of his family he made his way to Salem where he stayed with his cousins for a short time before moving to Portland where his parents were living while his sister Mary was in the hospital. While in his early 20’s he moved with his girlfriend to Wolf Point Montana where he got a job at the radio station as an announcer. After returning to Portland we worked as a crisis line counselor where he helped many people in a time of need. In Feb, 2005 he met Stephanie Parker, the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with and in July of 2012 they married. Braulio loved playing and joking around with his loved ones as he was a giant kid himself. He was known as the fun uncle that everyone wanted to hang out with. He loved fishing, camping and his favorite place to be was the beach. As an animal lover, he had many pets over his life time. In addition to his cats and dogs he also had an Iguana, Goat and Goose. He is survived by his adoptive family Johnny, Pattie, Carla and John-John, wife Stephanie, Siblings Mary, Andrea, Paul and Joe. His nieces and nephews Luciano, Steven, Christopher, Jessica, Kaleah and Barrett and Great nieces and nephew Kamijay, Nevaeh, and Quarnyah. Braulio is preceded in heaven by his Daughter Nichole, Father Paul, Sister Elizabeth and Mother Shirley. Memorial Service to take place on Saturday December 19th at the Portland Central Church of the Nazarene at 11:00am with a reception to immediately to follow.
