The Memorial Service on Thursday, October 29th at 2:00 pm and the Military Honors Service on Friday, October 30th at 1:00 pm will be webcast. It is with tremendous sadness and the heaviest of hearts that we say goodbye to the greatest husband, father, papa, brother, and friend. Tony passed away peacefully September 28th with Linda and his boys by his side. He defied all setbacks that stood in front of him and battled until the end. We would expect nothing less from Tony, as he was a decorated combat soldier who survived two tours in Vietnam from 1966-1968. He was a true American patriot to his core, serving with his brothers of the 25th Infantry Division, 1/27 Wolfhounds Tony loved his family and life and lived it to the fullest more than anyone we know. We will miss his sarcasm and funny Facebook posts, along with his contagious smile and kind heart. His passion and generosity for the people and hobbies he loved truly goes unmatched. To know him, was to love him. His memory will live forever in our hearts. Tony is survived by his wife Linda, his three boys, Kelly (Mindy), Todd (Heather), and Travis, his five grandchildren, Hunter, Trask, Tinley, Tucker, and Harper, his brother Paul, and countless friends we all call family. Services for Tony are by invitation only. The family plans to hold a celebration of life sometime in the summer of 2021 for everyone to attend! In lieu of flowers, Tony’s family would appreciate consideration of donating to St. Vincent DePaul. Tony was active in this Veteran’s charity. He loved their Christmas food box program and was one of their largest contributors. He and Linda both volunteered each year to help put the Christmas boxes together. Please make checks payable to “St Vincent DePaul” and add on the notation line of the check “in memory of Tony Zasky” Checks should be mailed to: SVDP Treasurer ATTN: Judy Groebner 3267 SE Cinderella Ct Milwaukie, OR 97222
