Obituary of Becky K. Clevinger

Becky K. Clevinger was born on September 12, 1956 to Don and Donna Hoagland in Bend, OR. She had a younger sister and brother, Kim and Rick. She attended grade school in Beaverton, OR, and graduated from Aloha High School. In 1977, she married the love of her life Tom Clevinger in Portland, OR. They had two children, a son Ryan, and a daughter Chloe. They lived in many places and made many wonderful friends wherever they went. They moved from Portland to Northern California in 1980. In 1986, they moved to Seattle, and then to Kansas City in 1989 with their growing family. They returned to Seattle in 1995, before Tom was transferred to the Netherlands in 2006, where they traveled extensively throughout Europe. They returned to the US in 2010, moving to Chicago, and finally returning to Portland in 2017, when Tom retired, so both Becky and Tom could spend more time with their aging parents, and family. Becky loved to travel, and saw many of the wonders of the world. She loved musicals and plays, and enjoyed seeing them in cities throughout the world. She and Tom were blessed with three grandchildren, Parker (11), Paisley (8) and Gibson (6), and she loved spending time with them (and spoiling them) frequently in Leavenworth, WA. She an avid sports fan, cheered on her Seahawks, Chiefs, Bears, 49ers, and Cubbies over the years. She especially loved watching golf on television, and attending tournaments. Becky lit up a room and brought every gathering alive with her bright smile. Becky is survived by her husband Tom, father Don, son Ryan Clevinger, daughter Chloe Hollatz (Tom), grandchildren Parker Hollatz, Paisley Hollatz and Gibson Hollatz, and her dog Toby. She is predeceased by her mother Donna, and her sister and brother, Kim and Rick. A celebration of Becky’s life will be scheduled at a later date (post pandemic).
