Obituary of Deloris M Fuhr

Deloris Mae (Maxfield) Fuhr was born Oct.10, 1932 in Juniata, Nebraska to Virgial and Verna Maxfield. The family moved to Oregon in 1937 where Deloris lived the rest of her life. She graduated from Milwaukie H.S and attended Northwestern Christian College. Following a long career with General Motors in the insurance claims department, she and her husband bought The CandyBasket in Hillsboro and embarked on a journey in the retail confectioners industry. Deloris enjoyed traveling the world, boating, bowling and her Boston Terrier, Rocky. Deloris was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, F.Richard Fuhr, her parents, and her brother-in-law, Peter Butler. She is survived by children Richard(Cindy), Susan(Edward Dunn) and Dale(Kipi) Fuhr, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Janyce Butler Stacy(William), niece Wendy Butler and her son, nephew Rob Butler and his daughter.
