Obituary of Sandra L. Stushek

Sandra Lee (Lovell) Stushek was born and raised in Lincoln Nebraska.  Sandy quietly passed away on Oct. 11th.

She married the love of her life, William Stushek Sr.  in Pine City Minnesota on December 24, 1957.

They moved to Portland Oregon about 1962 and settled in SE Portland where they raised their 3 sons.

Sandy was active in the PTA at the grade school their sons attended.  Often times, you could visit the school and it wasn’t uncommon to see Sandy’s artwork on the windows at the school, featuring the changing seasons and the holidays.

Sandy was a very beautiful and gifted artist.  Sandy shared her gift and talent teaching art classes to many students throughout the years.  Sandy was always so proud of her students and always encouraged them (maybe insisted) to enter their artwork in the county fairs.

William predeceased Sandy on August 22, 2011 and her sister Lynn Carnevale on April 7, 2012.

Sandy is survived by 3 sons.  Robin (Judy) Stushek, William Stushek Jr (S/O Teresa), and John Stushek (S/O Natashka Sivacheva); brother John Lovell; brother in law Smokey: grandchildren Robin, Rebecca, Jason, W. Patrick, Cassie & Jamie; many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Sandy, you will be greatly missed.  You are loved.

A viewing will be on October 18th from 10-5 at Wilhelm Portland Memorial Funeral Home.

A service will be on November 1st at 11:00 am at Wilhelm Portland Memorial Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be on November 1st at 1:00 pm at Willamette National Cemetery.
