Obituary of John Henry Hudson

John Hudson passed away in his sleep on May 21, 2019 at his home. He was born to Robert A. and Daisy F. Hudson in Portland, Oregon on January 8, 1939. He and his sister, Patricia, enjoyed a wonderful childhood.

John attended and graduated from Lincoln High School, as well as Oregon State University, where he was in served in the Army ROTC and spent army at Ft. Ord, California.

Returning home, he worked with his father at Hudson House Wholesale Grocers, then bought a grocery store, Angelo’s at SW Scholls Ferry and Hall in Beaverton.  He also owned and leased other retail spaces. He worked until the day he passed on.

We will miss him, his love of his home, his faithful cats and his family. He leaves his sister, Patricia D. Hudson, his niece, Michelle M. Rand, nephew, John R.H. Misko, great-niece, Elle H. Misko, cousins, Julie F. Postel and Wesley J. Ferry.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, June 14, 2019 at the Wilhelm’s Portland Memorial Chapel, 6705 SE 14th Ave, Portland, OR 97202
