Patty M. Fredricksen (Patty McAdams) Oct 19, 1933 – Mar 8, 2012 Patty was born Patty Midge Brewer, in Hershey, Nebraska and moved to Hobbs, New Mexico where she graduated from Hobbs Senior High School. Patty married Valdean McAdams in 1951 in Hobbs, New Mexico and the couple moved to Pendleton, Oregon, and later to Portland, Oregon, where they raised three sons. They spent family summers camping, fishing and waterskiing, a favorite pastime of Patty's. Following Valdean's death, Patty married Fredrick Fredricksen and spent the next 30 years traveling, cruising and in later years sharing their home in Camas, WA with their beloved adopted cats. Known as "Peppermint Patty", Patty owned the Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream franchise in Milwaukie, Oregon for many years. Patty will be remembered for her fun loving, bubbly, personality and wonderful cooking skills (especially her "Patty Pastry"). Preceded by her brothers Donald and Hal Fenner, Patty is survived by her sons Valdean Jr. (Rick), Rodney and Randy McAdams; stepdaughter Andrea Clarke; and grandchildren Andrea McGee, Katie and Kiara McAdams and Quinn Fredricksen. A memorial service for family and friends will be held on March 17th at 10am at Wilhelm's Portland Memorial Funeral Home. Service Information
