Obituary of Rosalie F. Comella

Comella, Rosalie 67 April 27, 1946 Nov. 28, 2013 "Today is the happiest day of my life," words spoken by Rosalie Gatto Comella hours before she took her final breath. Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, Elynor and Peter Gatto. She is survived by her husband, Joseph; sons, Edward Anglim and Jason Comella (Crista); brother, Joe Gatto (Marilyn); niece, Elle Combs (Guy); and granddaughter, Anna. She and her husband traveled extensively. She especially enjoyed spending winter months with her desert family of friends. Services will be held at noon Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 3910 S.E. 11th Ave., Portland, OR. Viewing from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at Wilhelm's Portland Memorial Funeral Home, 6705 S.E. 14th Ave. Contributions may be made to Oregon Health & Science University department of cardiology or a charity of your choice.
