Obituary of Wendy Lynn Carr

Born in Boise, Idaho. At the age of 2, her family moved to Portland. Wendy went to grade school & up to the 9th grade in portland, but finished her schooling in Pensacola, Florida when her family moved there for 4 years. Wendy attended Portland State after moving back from Florida for 2 yrs. Then got married to Hugh Herrington and had her daughter Hayley, the love of her life. Wendy and Hugh divorced when Hayley was 2 years old. She was working for the YMCA Child development center, she was able to take Hayley to work with her, which she loved. Wendy worked there for 8 yrs and Hayley was with her there until she started school. Wendy went through a few rough years, but got in recovery and got her life back on track. In 2000 she moved in to her mom's apartment to help take care of her aunt until she passed away. Wendy was a great care giver she ended up making it her career got her CNA license and worked until her last lady she cared for passed, at the same time dealing with the diagnoses of cancer she worked and then cared for the other love of her life Jeff, that passed away in August of 2012. She rarely complained and still had her since of humor. Wendy loved her Daughter, Hayley so much and loved laughing with her as they watched funny movies. We her family loved her so much and we have a part of our hearts empty with her passing, but she is in no more pain and is in Heaven with all of her other loved ones that have passed. We will see you agin Wen, but we miss you so much love Mom Hayley and Kym, and all her extended family.
